Performs structured clinical evaluation, including UPDRS examinations, and other performance tests in participants’ home retirement facilities. Enters data directly on to computerized forms and edits forms, including checking data for completeness and accuracy. Assists with the recruitment and scheduling of subjects, which involves helping the coordinator explain the goals of the study, obtaining informed consents and arranging participant evaluations. Obtains and stores biological specimens, which include collecting blood, urine, and additional specimens as required by research protocol. Applies a thorough knowledge of the research protocols to serve as a resource person to the clinicians and study coordinators. Maintain patients and participants charts.
